Florida city abuzz: Who among us won Powerball jackpot?

USA- Today --The Florida sun was shining a little bit brighter Sunday on an unidentified person who beat odds of 175 million-to-1 on a Powerball ticket worth $590.5 million, the largest jackpot in the game's history.

The lucky numbers in Saturday night's drawing were 10, 13, 14, 22 and 52, with a Powerball of 11. A mob of media and the curious amassed Sunday outside the Zephyr Commons Publix supermarket, in the Tampa suburb of Zephyrhills, where the winning ticket was sold.

Reporter "gets drunk" testing proposed .05 BAC limit

New Port Richey, Florida- A cooler of ice cold beer, a car, and supervision from the Pasco County Sheriff's Office DUI enforcement team.

We wanted to know how much alcohol it would take to face impairment and reach the new proposed .05 blood alcohol level.

Without anything to drink, deputies following behind me said I was an excellent driver in full control of the vehicle I was driving.

But what about after one, two, or even three bottles of beer? 10 News social media producer Taylor Katz and I were each assigned to drink three beers.

Elderly man trapped in car for days dies

New Port Richey, Florida -- 10 News learned Friday the elderly man trapped in his car for days has died. Justyn "Jay" Ambrozia's neighbor informed 10 News reporter Eric Glasser of his passing Thursday and we then confirmed it with the medical examiner.

New Port Richey, Florida -- Mike Glass of West Pasco Outreach along with Somebody Cares Tampa Bay (Carefest) have come together to volunteer to clean-up the landscaping of the River Road Church at 6131 River Road.

The property will have the lawn cut, trimmed, vines will be removed; bushes and trees will be trimmed. The volunteers will be on the property on Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 8:30am to 12:00pm. Along with the clean-up at the church, some individuals from these groups will be helping two wheel chair bound residents.  No additional volunteers will be needed.

Pasco gun shop owner sentenced to 5 years in prison

Tampa, Florida -- The target of a series of 10 News Investigators stories will be spending the next five years in federal prison on drug and weapons charges.

Gary Galati, who owned Galati Guns in New Port Richey, was arrested in December as the result of an undercover operation the feds started last summer. 

Unknown to the 10 News Investigators, we started our own undercover investigation of Galati last summer as well and did a series of stories last fall.
