About Us
River's Edge Pediatrics is located close to downtown New Port Richey, on the beautiful Cotee River in West Pasco County, approximately 25 miles north of Tampa Bay.
We are a small medical practice well known in the area for our expertise, experience and caring attitude toward all patients.

Kathleen R. Montemayor, M. D., FAAP
Dr. Montemayor is originally from Philadelphia and has been practicing in the area for the past 20 years, after coming from All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg. Dr. Montemayor, a board certified Pediatrician, is a positive-minded physician who believes in well children and helping the sick get better.
She is able to speak to her patients in both Spanish and English.
Aldo C. Dondero, M. D., FAAP
Dr. Dondero is originally from New Jersey and has been a Florida resident for 25 years. He finished his Pediatric training in New York and has practiced there for three years, prior to teaming up with Dr. Montemayor. He speaks English and Spanish and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Dondero takes adolescent care and education seriously and is a strong advocate of parental education for the successful treatment and follow-up of the patient.
Seema M. Kubarek, M. D., FAAP
Dr. Kubarek is a Board Certified pediatrician and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She graduated from Cornell University and then earned her M.D. degree from Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York in 1995. She completed her pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Kubarek worked in New Port Richey from 2000-2002. Then she worked in Tacoma, WA at Madigan Army Hospital for the past 3 and ½ years before relocating back to Florida with her family. Dr. Kubarek enjoys working with both children and their parents to ensure the health and well being of her patients.
Gayle Moussa, ARNP, CS
Gayle Moussa is originally from Tarpon Springs, Florida. She is a Master’s degreed Family Nurse Practitioner, and is nationally credentialed to care for pediatric and adult patients. Her background is in critical care and emergency medicine. She is returning to River’s Edge Pediatrics after working as Director of Emergency Services, Cape Coral Hospital, Cape Coral, Florida, for the past two years.
Mary J. Lewis, ARNP, PNP
Joy Lewis was born and raised in Ontario, Canada but has lived in the Tampa Bay area for 15 years. She received her Bachelor and Master in Nursing from the University of South Florida. Prior to working at River's Edge Pediatrics she specialized in pediatric gastroenteroloty and nutrition and was affiliated with All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. She is married and has a four year old son who keeps her very busy!
