Fine Arts of the Suncoast to give over $10K to Pasco schools | Community Spirit

Wesley Chapel, Florida -- On Saturday, Jan. 19, the board of the Fine Arts of the Suncoast, Inc. will present eleven art educators from Pasco Schools grant awards to supplement funding for their schools’ art programs.

In addition, more than 20 elementary, middle, and high schools will receive grant awards. These grants are the result of Art for Kids in which the Suncoast Arts Fest raises funds each year to supplement funding for Pasco art educators and schools to promote the arts and culture for Pasco students.

The public is invited to the Suncoast Arts Fest 2013 to be held at the Shops at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel the weekend of Jan. 19 & 20, 2013.

More than 100 fine artists and craftsmen make this premier art event the finest in Pasco County. This is a family-friendly event with proceeds benefiting Art for Kids each year. The grant award presentations will be followed this year by a free “Celebration” concert with Late Night Brass.
