Detention deputy arrested for taking, distributing nude photos

Hudson, Florida -- A Pasco County detention deputy was arrested after police say he took nude photos of a woman at a party and mailed them to her daughter and ex-husband.

The woman told police Brian Pratt took the photos on his cell phone while she was passed out in her bedroom after she drank too much at a party.

Police say an associate of Pratt's told them Pratt showed him the photos and said he was going to send them to her ex-husband and boyfriend as revenge.

Pratt, 51, is on paid administrative leave and has been charged with Video Voyeurism.

New Port Richey, Florida -- A high school student has been arrested and charged with the death of a man whose body was found in Starkey Wilderness Park Sunday afternoon.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, 18-year-old Marcus Wilson was drinking with 30-year-old Christopher Ashton Martin at the park around 1 a.m. Sunday. Wilson told police he passed out on a picnic table and when he woke up Martin was performing oral sex on him.

Investigation leads to prescription drug bust in Pasco

Pasco County, Florida - Two people were arrested Sunday after over 4,000 prescription pills were found in their car during a traffic stop. 

The sheriff's office says the traffic stop was initiated based on probable cause to arrest both 38-year-old Damiana Alvarado and Ramon Aguilar-Hernandez and to seize their silver 2007 Honda 4D vehicle. The two were returning from South Florida at the time with the pills.

Former Port Richey mayor pleads guilty to fraud charges

TAMPA, Florida (AP) - The former mayor of Port Richey has pleaded guilty to conspiring to defraud the government by hiding money from the Internal Revenue Service.

Court officials say Richard Rober and his wife, Averill, pleaded guilty Thursday at the federal courthouse in Tampa. In a hearing before U.S. Magistrate Thomas McCoun the couple acknowledged the facts outlined in a criminal complaint against them are true.

Mother charged with murder in scalding death

NEW PORT RICHEY, Florida (AP) - A Tampa Bay area woman who authorities say placed her 2-month-old son under scalding water for several minutes has been charged with murder.

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office filed second-degree murder charges Wednesday against 18-year-old Chekayla Dampier.

Pregnant woman accused of stabbing boyfriend in jealous rage

Hudson, Florida -- A woman was arrested Monday after her boyfriend said she stabbed him repeatedly during an argument.

According to the police report, 43-year-old Deborah St. Louis, of Holiday, got into an argument with her live-in boyfriend after she found another woman's phone number in his wallet.

The man told police she grabbed a knife from the kitchen and stabbed him several times. He was able to get away to a nearby gas station where he called for help.
