Crime

Port Richey, Florida -- Police say a 23-year-old woman was found passed out in her car at a McDonald's parking lot. Also in the car were several drug-filled syringes and a 2-year-old child.

According to the arrest report, shortly before 3 p.m. Friday, a witness reported to police that a woman was asleep in her car and a toddler was "crawling" out of it.

An officer arrived to the McDonald's at US Highway 19 in Port Richey to find Alice Lindahl and an adult passenger asleep in the car and hypodermic needles in plain view inside, all within reach of the child.  A spoon with blue oxycodone residue on it was also found in a bag in the same seat as the child.

Police say Lindahl admitted to falling asleep in the car.  She was arrested and charged with child neglect.

The identity of the passenger is unknown at this time.
