New Port Richey, Florida -- The Pasco County Sheriff's Office has released video of two people wanted for stealing a boat docked at a New Port Richey subdivision.
Investigators say this isn't the first incident of boating equipment being stolen in west Pasco County. In fact, the sheriff's office says they've seen at least two cases in recent weeks.
The two suspects were seen on a surveillance camera in a channel at the Gulf Harbors subdivision sometime between 6 p.m. Jan. 8 and 7 a.m. Jan. 9 stealing the boat that was tied to a floating dock in the water in the 4100 block of Floramar Terrace.
The boat was later recovered at Green Key Beach but its $2,500 15-horsepower Yamaha outboard motor is still missing.
This is the second time in three years the owner told police he has been a victim of a crime like this.
