$5 line dancing lessons

New Port Richey, Florida -  Do you want to learn how to country dance?  Do you want to get some good exercise?

Now is the time for Line Dancing Lessons!

Starting on Tuesday and every Tuesday after that, you can learn in the evenings. It is $5.00 per class.

For the first half hour from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m., there are actually free dance steps lessons.  Then, it's $5 after that.

New Port Richey, Florida -- New Port Richey Main Street has announced the music line-up for this weekend's Cotee River Seafood & Blues Festival. 

The festival will take place at Sims Park in downtown New Port Richey beginning at 4 p.m. Friday, April 27.

The full lineup is listed below:

Friday, April 27, 2012: Gates open at 4 p.m.

4:30 - 6:00 p.m.: Thunderbolt Brown Blues Band

6:30 - 8:00 p.m.: Time Bandits

8:30 - 10:00 p.m.: Kathy-Jo & Bluezification

New Port Richey, Florida - The city will unveil it's 31st Black Maria Film and Video Festival as rolls into town for the third straight year on Friday, April 20, at the Richey Suncoast Theatre at 8 p.m. The festival has proven to be a huge success in years' past.

The City of New Port Richey’s Cultural Affairs Committee presents the Spring & Fall Free for All: Movie in the Park on Friday, April 20 at Sims Park in downtown New Port Richey.

Wall-E comes to Sims Park

New Port Richey, Florida -- Earth Day is right around the corner and to celebrate the City of New Port Richey's Cultural Affairs Advisory Committee, in cooperation with the Parks & Recreation Department, brings you a free screening of Wall-E.

The film will be shown in Sims Park, downtown New Port Richey Friday, April 15.

The event begins at 7:30 p.m. with the screening to be held at 8 p.m. (or dark).

Representatives from Ecology Florida will be at the park offering a free Wall-E storybook to anyone who becomes a supporter, while supplies last.
