Supervisor of Elections warns voters of misrepresentation | News
Pasco County, Florida -- Pasco County Supervisor of Elections Brian Corley is alerting voters to a potential misrepresentation by organizations sending alarming messages to voters regarding their voter registration status or potential ineligibility.
The elections' office says it has received several complaints from voters who have received robo-calls and door-to-door solicitors offering voter registration services. In several cases, there have been allegations of the solicitor being affiliated with the Supervisor of Elections' Office.
"Please know that if anyone notifies you regarding your voter registration alleging you may be ineligible to vote, that call is not coming from my office," said Supervisor Corley. "I would encourage anyone who has received one of these calls and has any doubt about their eligibility, to notify my office immediately for clarification."
Voters should call 800-851-8754 to check their registration status or on-line at pascovotes.com. In order to perform an accurate search when using the on-line form, please be sure to complete all required information in the format requested.
