Pasco Co., FL-- The Florida Department of Transportation has announced the following lane closures for Pasco County this coming week.
Suncoast Parkway (Toll 589):
Milling and resurfacing projects (Mileposts 17-37) single lane closures, Sunday through Thursday, as follows:
- 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., both north- and southbound, between Mileposts 17 and 27
- Friday lane closures end at 4:30 p.m.
Commuters should Watch for crews installing high tension cable barrier in the median next week (Mileposts 17 to 23) and be alert for crews working in the median and roadway shoulders.
According to the department, these projects, totaling $18.5 million, encompass milling, resurfacing and roadway improvements along 20 miles of the Suncoast Parkway in Pasco.They include daytime lane closures and construction of median cable barrier and upgrades to the existing motorist aid call boxes.
They are scheduled for completion in summer of 2013.
Toll Plaza Maintenance (Mileposts 22-24)
Open Road Tolling Gantry
- Southbound, 8 p.m.-5 a.m., December 5-6: all traffic is being diverted through the cash lanes, which have one dedicated SunPass lane available in each direction.
This work accommodates full replacement of plaza equipment.
