New Port Richey, Florida -- Fire officials say residents in western Pasco County will probably notice smoke in the air for the next couple of days as Florida Forest Service crews work to maintain a brush fire.
Florida Forest Service officials say the 15-acre fire that started Monday was the result of arson and today crews set a 200-acre back-burn fire in order to keep it from the wetlands at Starkey Well Field.

No homes are reportedly in danger but electronic signs will put up with the help of FDOT on State Road 52 to warn drivers of possible smoke in the road.
