Poster contest for Pasco County elementary students | News
New Port Richey, Florida -- Elementary school students will get the chance to compete in the Fourth Annual Pasco County Water Awareness Poster Contest while learning about the importance of water resources. This year's theme is "Choose Drippy's or Amie Ba's Next Adventure."
After learning about the processes that go into water treatment and reclamation, the students will create posters with various aspects of water use or reuse.
Posters must include the program's mascots, Drippy and Amie Ba. Posters will be collected and categorized by grade level and judged by clarity of message, neatness, creativity and originality.
Winning posters will be on display at the West Pasco Government Center in May.
Registration for the contest began on Jan. 28, 2013 and ends on March 22, 2013. For additional information or for online registration, please visit the FGUA website at education.fgua.com.
