Pasco County, Florida - Two people were arrested Sunday after over 4,000 prescription pills were found in their car during a traffic stop. 

The sheriff's office says the traffic stop was initiated based on probable cause to arrest both 38-year-old Damiana Alvarado and Ramon Aguilar-Hernandez and to seize their silver 2007 Honda 4D vehicle. The two were returning from South Florida at the time with the pills.

New Port Richey, Florida-- On Sunday, May 6 at 2 p.m., the New Port Richey Library hosts the free event, Forks Over Knives.

"This film examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the degenerative diseases that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting animal-based and processed foods.

Pasco County, Florida -- Pasco County art instructors from public, charter, private and home-schooled networks were invited to select up to six pieces of art from their currently enrolled students in elementary or middle school for this year's Kids 'n Art exhibit. 

Each child could enter one piece in any medium. The show will be judged by Barbara Dent, high school art instructor from Bishop McLaughlin and will be on exhibit from May 12 through the end of May.
